Travel Allowance
Local units that charge at least $5 professional dues and submitted their 2008-09 officer lists to
the state office by Sep. 30, 2008, are eligible for travel allowances. At least one member of your
local unit must attend the event in order for you local unit to receive a travel allowance.
To receive your travel allowance check at the event, send the
Travel Allowance Form to the state office by Jan. 2. If ATPE receives your form postmarked after Jan. 2,
your check will be mailed to the local unit
president after the event.
Reimbursement will be based on the distance you must travel to get to Austin and the number of
members you bring.
