2008-09 ATPE Political Action Committee Recognition 

Prior Year Recipients

 
William B. Travis Honorees

These honorees are members who have been fundamental to the continued growth of ATPE’s Political Action Committee (ATPE-PAC). First-time honorees will receive customized ATPE lapel pins or writing pens, and repeat honorees will receive customized lapel pins.

Criteria and guidelines

  1. To be an honoree, a member must donate at least $100 to the political action committee from May 2, 2008–May 1, 2009.
  2. All donations must be received by May 1, 2009.
  3. We must be able to trace your name back to your donations. Therefore, if you donate money anonymously, it will not be included in this total.

Timeline

  1. Honorees will be notified in May and will be recognized at Leader U 2009.
  2. Certificates, pins and writing pens will be mailed to recipients prior to Leader U.
      

Stephen F. Austin Honorees
These honorees are members who have shown continued support of ATPE-PAC through the years. Honorees’ names will be added to a plaque on display at the ATPE state office.

Criteria and guidelines

  1. By May 1, 2009, an honoree must have donated a total of $500, $1,000, $2,000 or $4,000 to ATPE-PAC since the 1997 Leadership Workshop (July 11, 1997).
  2. All donations must be received by May 1, 2009.
  3. We must be able to trace your name back to your donations. Therefore, if you anonymously donated money, it will not be included in this total.

Timeline

  1. Honorees will be notified in May and will be recognized at Leader U 2009. Funding for travel, food and housing must be arranged through the local unit.
