The ATPE Professional Learning Portal

The ATPE Professional Learning Portal is your gateway to engaging content and educational resources designed to enhance your professional growth. Our learning management system offers a variety of experiences, including self-paced online courses and live webinar or event recordings covering a wide array of topics.

As an educator, you can:

  • Earn CPE Credits Online: Take advantage of our flexible learning options to earn CPE credits whenever it suits you. ATPE is registered with the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) as an approved provider of CPE, ensuring that your credits are recognized and valid.
  • Access a Variety of Content: Explore a wide range of topics by browsing the course catalog and viewing categories with content designed to meet the current needs of educators.
  • Track Your CPE Hours and Certificates: Easily log both ATPE- and non-ATPE-provided CPE experiences in one centralized location. Your personalized “Learning Center” will streamline the recordkeeping process so your CPE hours follow, no matter where your journey in education takes you.

FAQ

The PL Portal generates certificates for ATPE-provided courses and live events. You may view and print certificates directly from your “learning center.” Additionally, you may add external training records for non-ATPE courses or events to your “learning center” for recordkeeping purposes, but certificates will not be generated.

Texas educators holding a standard certificate must renew their certificates every five years. To renew a standard certificate, classroom teachers must have completed 150 hours of continuing professional education (CPE), and administrative and/or student services certificate holders must complete 200 hours. It can be challenging to meet those requirements, which is why ATPE membership includes access to the ATPE Professional Learning (PL) Portal.

Are you an ATPE member?
Currently, only ATPE members can access the full course catalog in the PL Portal. If you are not an ATPE member, you may sign up for limited guest access to select courses for a limited time.

Have you created an account on atpe.org?
Ensure that you have created a web account. To create an account, please follow the instructions found at this link. If you are logged in to your web account, the button at the top right-hand corner of the webpage will read “My Account.” If you are not logged in, the button will read “Member Login.”

NOTE: Do not change your portal username or password; these are pre-populated from your atpe.org web account.
