How do I join?
Visit member.atpe.org/join to start your application. Join in the College Student category if you’re just taking classes right now. Join as a Clinical Teacher if you’re going to be doing any student or clinical teaching or observations, whether in person or virtually. ATPE’s Clinical Teacher membership provides you with professional liability insurance.** (But it’s still FREE!) And don’t forget: When you finally land your dream job, be sure to upgrade to the appropriate paid membership to retain your membership benefits.
IMPORTANT: If you are being paid by or are receiving a stipend from a school district as part of your clinical teaching experience or residency, you need to join ATPE as a paid student teacher at the first-time professional member rate of $110.
