ATPE lobbyists will brief you on our 2019 legislative priority issues and offer key messaging strategies to help you influence your legislators and be an effective voice for your profession and your students. The ATPE Governmental Relations Team of Jennifer Mitchell, Monty Exter, Mark Wiggins, and Andrea Chevalier host this 90-minute session.
The Varied Voices of Public Education
A panel of influential state leaders will weigh in on major education issues being debated during the 86th Legislature. This 75-minute session features Kevin Ellis, State Board of Education member; Gary VanDeaver, State Representative; Mary González, State Representative; and Karina Kling, moderator.
