Grow the Community You Love
Date Posted: 9/16/2019
Some educators join ATPE for the peace of mind provided by the legal resources and professional liability insurance benefits*. Other educators most appreciate knowing they have a voice at the Capitol. Still others place the highest value on the money-saving discounts or free access to ATPE’s CPE portal. Whatever you love most about your membership with ATPE, chances are you’re telling your fellow educators about it.
If that sounds like you, then consider becoming an ATPE campus representative. This volunteer role offers a rewarding way to connect with colleagues as you spread the word about ATPE and grow the association.
ATPE has members on almost every campus in the state, and we’re looking for more volunteers who are ready to lead. We’ll provide the training, resources, and networks to ensure you can truly make a difference in the lives of Texas educators and students. You can be a campus rep whether your district has a local unit or not.
Getting started as an ATPE volunteer is easy. Simply contact ATPE Volunteer Program Coordinator Anna Belle Burleson at volunteer@atpe.org to learn about opportunities in your district.
Being a campus rep allows you to be a visible leader on your campus and helps us expand the community of ATPE. You also get to serve as the voice of our association on your school campus!
Every second of your time spent serving members and colleagues goes back into helping your association—ATPE—grow, allowing us to continue serving you. It’s a great time to volunteer for Texas’s largest community of educators!
*Eligibility, terms, and conditions of legal resources and professional liability insurance apply. Visit atpe.org/protection for details.
