Teachers Can: Elevating the Teaching Profession in the Public Eye

In light of the recent news that Texas schools are closed for the remainder of the year, it’s more important than ever to recognize educators for the ways they’ve adapted in these uncertain times.
Since March, teachers throughout the state have been working tirelessly to deliver the best distance learning experience to their students—online and on paper. Countless Zoom meetings, emails, phone calls, and social media posts have woven the fabric of the “new normal” in public education.
ATPE is honored to be part of #TeachersCan, a coalition of dozens of Texas associations, brands, chambers of commerce, and universities that have joined together to elevate the teaching profession in the public eye.
