A Message from ATPE Regarding COVID-19 and Your Member Benefits
Date Posted: 3/15/2020
As COVID-19 continues to spread, we wanted to let you know about the measures ATPE is putting into place so we can continue serving our members during this time of uncertainty. Our first and foremost concern is your health and safety, and our thoughts and prayers are with anyone who is already experiencing symptoms.
As schools close and standardized testing requirements are waived, rumors and misinformation begin to spread quickly. ATPE’s Coronavirus FAQ Page, atpe.org/coronavirus, is a source for confirmed information. Please bookmark it and check back frequently as we will continue updating it.
All ATPE staff members are working hard to support you during this time:
We know you are on the frontlines of keeping Texas families safe: disinfecting classrooms, preparing curbside takeout meals, modifying instructional plans, and making difficult decisions about the remainder of the school year. As always, it is an honor to support the state’s largest community of educators.
Thank you for trusting ATPE with your membership.
