Let TEA Know How Your School Year Went
Date Posted: 5/18/2021
The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER III) provides over $12 billion in emergency relief funding to the State of Texas. While the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) has released approximately $8 billion of that allocation to the state, in order to access the remaining funds, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) must submit a state-level plan to USDE by June 7, 2021. For more information about the federal funding, read this breakdown from ATPE Governmental Relations.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking input from teachers across the state to help inform the state-level plan and wants to hear from you about your challenges and what TEA should consider for the coming school year. Please join TEA for a stakeholder feedback session at 4 p.m. CDT Monday, May 24.
This webinar is limited to the first 2,975 participants. Click here to register in advance for this webinar. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. For additional information, contact TEA.
