Submit Your Nominations for the 2021–22 ATPE Awards!

Just a few weeks remain to submit an ATPE award nomination. If you want to recognize a fellow member or ATPE local unit for their efforts this year, tell us about them today!

Here’s what you need to know about each award:

Charles Pickitt Educator of the Year Awards are presented to educators who change lives and inspire the best in their students and peers.  

  • The awards are divided into five categories: Administrator, Associate, Elementary Teacher, Secondary Teacher, and Special Services Educator.
  • Each winner will receive $5,000.
  • Self-nominations are not allowed.

Floyd Trimble Local Unit of the Year Awards honor exceptional ATPE local units. 

  • The awards are presented in five categories: 1–200 members, 201–500 members, 501–1,000 members, 1,001+ members, and university local units.
  • Each winning local unit will receive $1,000.
  • Self-nominations are allowed.

Doug Rogers Campus Representative of the Year Awards celebrate outstanding ATPE volunteer leaders.

  • The awards are divided into four categories: 1–200 members, 201–500 members, 501–1,000 members, and 1,001+ members.
  • Each winner will receive $1,000.
  • Self-nominations are allowed.

Award winners will be recognized at the 2022 ATPE Summit.
