The past year and a half has been challenging for the entire public education community, forcing administrators and educators to improvise ways to engage students from a distance—and to maintain a safe learning environment as life shifts back to normal. ATPE applauds the efforts of school districts statewide to keep their staff and students healthy and connected throughout this time.

Principals play a vital role in student success, and every October, National Principals Month recognizes them for their support, leadership, and dedication. To celebrate the principals on your campus, check out these resources and more at principalsmonth.org:

ATPE also has its own award for administrators. Award season is just around the corner, so if you’d like to recognize a principal, consider nominating them for an Administrator of the Year award. The winner will be recognized at the 2022 ATPE Summit. Learn more about this award and ATPE’s other prestigious awards at https://atpe.org/Submit-Your-ATPE-Award-Nominations.
