Are you a teacher candidate or cooperating teacher who participated in the edTPA pilot? Educate Texas and the Texas Education Agency are partnering with the national education-focused nonprofit TNTP to study the experiences candidates and cooperating teachers have had with the program. The organizations want to interview these educators to understand their experiences with the edTPA pilot, including what went well, what challenges they faced, lessons learned, and suggestions for future implementation.

Interviews will take place with teachers from a range of educator preparation programs and K-12 partners to understand multiple stakeholders’ perspectives. Responses may be included in the final published report authored by TNTP, but no one will be identified individually in the final report. Participants will receive an Amazon gift card after their interviews as a thank-you for their time.
