Introducing Gen ATPE, a new program for members ages 30 and younger

Your first year(s) in the classroom are never easy, and Texas’ newest generation of educators needs unique opportunities to learn and network with each other. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Gen ATPE, a new ATPE program for members ages 30 and younger.

After hearing directly from members in this demographic, ATPE has developed Gen ATPE to provide unique educational and networking opportunities for ATPE member ages 30 or younger. No additional application or membership fee is required. To receive information on Gen ATPE opportunities, just make sure your correct birthdate is on file in your member profile.

Classroom management is a critical skill area for educators and is even more important in today’s challenging education environment. In this webinar, ATPE member Stephanie Stoebe shares useful tips to help you ensure your classroom runs smoothly.

Stephanie, currently a fourth grade teacher in Round Rock ISD, is a contributor to The Classroom Management Book by Dr. Harry K. Wong and Classroom Assessment: Principles and Practice for Effective Standards-Based Instruction by James H. McMillan. Her professional recognitions include the 2017 HEB Rising Star Nomination; 2017 Round Rock ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year; 2014 ATPE Educator of the Year; the 2013, 2014, and 2015 Veterans of Foreign Wars Teacher of the Year; the 2012 Texas Secondary Teacher of the Year; and the 2012 Angelo State University Distinguished Scholar Award. Stephanie also represents the members of Region 13 ATPE on the ATPE Board of Directors.
