Time to lace up your tennis shoes and join us for the 2022 Teacher Trot: ATPE-PAC Virtual 5K Run/Walk!

Registration is now open, and the entry fee is only $10. Most importantly, 100% of the money raised will go to the ATPE Political Action Committee (ATPE-PAC) and count toward your yearly award totals.

The event is open to all ATPE members. You can go solo or invite your family or fellow ATPE members to join you for a 5K run—or walk—on any day that’s convenient for you between kickoff Saturday, Nov. 19, and Saturday, Nov. 26.

The top finisher will receive a prize, and everyone who signs up for the event will receive a commemorative race sticker. These stickers will be mailed out the week following the race.

Plus, you can purchase a 2022 Teacher Trot Virtual 5K T-shirt via the ATPE-PAC store on Bonfire. Proceeds from these sales will also benefit ATPE-PAC.

Show your ATPE spirit! For those less concerned with getting the best time and who just want to take part in all the fun, we will also award a prize for the most creative race. Share your photos on social media (using #ATPETROT22), and staff will select a winner. This could be a creative path you took during your run, a fun outfit you wore during your race, or maybe a party at the finish line. Winners will be announced on social media and notified by email.

Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. CST Thursday, Nov. 17, so be sure to register today! After registration has closed, look for an email from us on Nov. 18 that will contain more instructions. Please be sure to open that email as it will contain a digital race bib that you'll be able to print from home and customize to your liking (and pin to your T-shirt on your race day of choice for photos!)
