The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) is once again on the road with its health vendors. Along with UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, SilverScript, and CVS Caremark, TRS will be traveling the state this fall to conduct a series of health fairs in locations near you. TRS will host 11 free in-person fairs for TRS-Care participants Sept. 20 through Oct. 20.

What can you expect at these health fairs?

Attending TRS-Care health fairs will give you a chance to explore your retiree health benefits. You’ll have the chance to visit booths hosted by the health vendors that administer TRS-Care health plans: Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, UnitedHealthcare, SilverScript, and CVS Caremark. You’ll also find booths for some of the most popular medical and wellness benefits, as well as for value-added programs retirees may access with the TRS-Care plans.

As in prior years, TRS will continue to host virtual webinars in addition to the in-person health fairs. Attend these for a deeper look at your 2023 plan health benefits and get answers to your questions.
