  • Earn up to seven hours of continuing professional education (CPE) credit: The opening keynote is “180 Days of Awesome” with Monica Genta, and her goal is to transform teachers, leaders, and schools from seeing education as an ordinary job into an extraordinary adventure. The closing keynote is “Remember Who You Are” with Jim “The Rookie” Morris. Morris’ story inspiring story was released in cinematic form with The Rookie starring Dennis Quaid. His story also serves as testimony to the power of dreams and their ability to inspire and transform human life. (Morris’ appearance is arranged through Gotham Artists.)
  • Use your voice in the House of Delegates: Delegates will elect the 2023-24 state officers and shape ATPE’s legislative priorities for the coming year.
  • Enhance your volunteer leadership skills: Enjoy sessions on future planning for local units, advocating at the school board level, local unit and region public relations, and more.
  • Dance under the stars: During our evening welcome reception, we’ll enjoy the high-energy, high-hilarity sounds of The Spazmatics, an 80s tribute band. Plus, you’ll have lots of time to explore the Kalahari in an evening-on-your-own adventure!
