Inclusion: Helping Students Feel Welcome
5:30 p.m. CT Wednesday, Feb. 15
Making students feel welcome and a part of your classroom starts with being intentional. The committed effective educator is culturally aware of the diverse learners served in their school. Helping students feel welcome is a process steeped in empathy, courage, and decisiveness. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of what a culturally responsive classroom looks like, as well as new resources and strategies for helping students of all backgrounds feel welcome and included.
