Inclusion: Helping Students Feel Welcome

Making students feel welcome and a part of your classroom starts with being intentional. The committed effective educator is culturally aware of the diverse learners served in their school. Helping students feel welcome is a process steeped in empathy, courage, and decisiveness. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of what a culturally responsive classroom looks like, as well as new resources and strategies for helping students of all backgrounds feel welcome and included.
