The largest educator association in Texas is hosting a forum Feb. 20 for the four candidates vying to replace retiring State Representative Jim Pitts (R-Waxahachie). Pitts served the last three terms as chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and was one of the strongest allies of Speaker of the House Rep. Joe Straus (R-San Antonio).
