The meeting will start at 9 a.m. at the Capitol in room E2.036.</p> <p>“ATPE has always opposed vouchers,” ATPE Lobbyist Monty Exter said. “They remove money from the already cash-strapped public education system, potentially to the tune of as much as $9 billion a biennium. The majority of research shows vouchers don’t help the students have better educational outcomes.”</p> <p>Exter will be testifying at the hearing. Media is encouraged to attend. ATPE opposes taking money away from cash-strapped public education system

On Monday, October 17, the House Public Education Committee will hear testimony regarding vouchers. The meeting will start at 9 a.m. at the Capitol in room E2.036.
