<p>January 18, 2017</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em>ATPE Announces Continuing Education Partnership with SXSWedu</em></p> <p>The Association of Texas Professional Educators (ATPE) is proud to announce our partnership with SXSWedu, an annual conference and festival focusing on innovations in learning. ATPE will offer continuing professional education (CPE) credits for educators who attend specific sessions.</p> <p>Our association’s CPE specialists have reviewed the SXSWedu programming lineup, and have approved content that matches CPE requirements for educators. More than 150 sessions and workshops have been accredited.</p> <p>We’re honored to have had two staff members, Maggie Susong and Leslie Trahan, serve on the advisory board this year. ATPE is the state’s largest educator group and the voice of public education.</p> <p>SXSWedu will be held at the Hilton Downtown Austin and Austin Convention Center on March 6-9, 2017. Like other SXSW festivals, SXSWedu offers a creative gathering space for the wide variety of stakeholders who share an interest in innovation and best practices. The Association of Texas Professional Educators (ATPE) is proud to announce our partnership with SXSWedu, an annual conference and festival focusing on innovations in learning. ATPE will offer continuing professional education (CPE) credits for educators who attend specific sessions.
