As another school year comes to an end, it’s a perfect time to map out what we want the upcoming year to look like for our association. Next month, we have our annual leadership and governance event, the ATPE Summit. This will be my first summit as your executive director, and I’m excited to see our community in action.

This year, our summit host city is Houston—a stellar location to get energized for what lies ahead. We’ve got some great events planned for you, including professional development sessions that will help you stay on track for the next school year, fun on-site events to help you connect with other ATPE members, and inspiration in the form of fellow Texas educator Todd Nesloney, who will be providing our keynote address.

It takes all of us working together to support the students of this state. Summit is a great reminder of everything we can accomplish when we are all on the same team.
