New Webinar Series: Cultivating Calm in Uncertain Times
Date Posted: 4/21/2020
Texas educators have done an incredible, inspiring job pivoting to remote instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the transition has been challenging. Educators are grappling with new technology, uncertainty about the future, grief over lost time with students, and more.
ATPE has partnered with yoga and wellness coach Ali Webb, RYT-500, to present a two-part webinar series called “Cultivating Calm in Uncertain Times”:
Part 1: Meditation Mini-Course and Practice is available below.
Part 2: A Gentle Yoga Practice
4 p.m. Friday, May 1
Learn why yoga is a powerful tool for responding to stress and trauma, then participate in a gentle practice. A yoga mat or towel and a blanket are the only equipment you’ll need. Part 2 is available to ATPE members only; log in to atpe.org to register.
